This activated bamboo charcoal is made from ecological high-mountain moso bamboo grown for over five years and processed through high-temperature carbonization. It features a hard, dense texture with a porous structure, giving it excellent adsorption performance and making it ideal for water purification.
 
Our activated bamboo charcoal is produced to food-grade quality and contains naturally occurring mineral. It can be used to eliminate tap water's undesirable tastes and odors, help soften hard water and form mildly alkaline water, optimizing your tea brewing experience.
 
Usage Applications:
 
1. Rinse the surface with clean water before use. Do not use detergents.
 
2. Place several pieces of bamboo charcoal in your water storage container, ideally one piece per 500 ml. Preferably, rinse the bamboo charcoal each time the container is refilled. Depending on your daily water consumption and local water quality, bamboo charcoal’s adsorption capacity may decrease after 2–4 weeks.
 
3. You can also place one piece directly in the boiling kettle. Some bamboo charcoal pieces may release black flakes due to collisions in the kettle, which is normal and completely safe.
 
4. Occasional breakage does not affect performance.
 
Recycling: 
 
The bamboo charcoal is 100% natural and biodegradable. Used pieces can be reused as BBQ fuel, for improving aquarium water quality, and also serve as an effective odor absorber for refrigerators, toilets, etc. Crushed bamboo charcoal is also an excellent soil amendment material for horticultural use.
