Jin Luo, golden spirals or golden snails, is a high-level Dian Hong, made with tender harvest of the bud together with the first leaf, and applied the rolling technique originatingfrom the famous green tea Bi Luo Chun, which gives the tea some juicier flavors and a rounder body in comparison with other types of Dian Hong, due to the heavier rolling process.
This is a very fine Jin Luo, energetic, intense and tasty; with fruity, honey, fresh sweet corn notes, and when longer steeped, also some toasted sweet potato notes; with creamy texture and with just the right amount of sweetness in it.
