Fen Cai (粉彩), also known as Famille Rose porcelain in the Western colour-based classification system, is a distinctive category of Chinese overglaze porcelain that emerged during the Qing dynasty and reached maturity in the 18th century. It is characterized by soft, pastel-toned enamels made possible by the introduction of opaque white pigment, which allowed for subtle colour gradations and refined pictorial effects.

The basic process involves firing a porcelain body with a transparent glaze at high temperatures, followed by the application of enamel decoration on the glazed surface. These enamels are painted in layers to achieve shading and depth, and the piece is then fired again at a lower temperature to fix the colours. This technique enabled greater realism and elegance in floral, figure, and landscape motifs, marking a significant development in Chinese ceramic art.

Each Cha Zhan is hand-made and hand-painted, so the shape and motif may show subtle differences from piece to piece. Only 4 pieces available in total.
