Qi Lan is a varietal widely used for multiple oolong teas, originally from southern Fujian and was introduced to Wuyi in the 1990s. Wuyi Qi Lan is highly aromatic and, corresponding with its name, it typically has orchid fragrance, as Qi Lan literally means rare orchid.
 
Our 2020 Qi Lan is a perfect option for daily consumption, also can be a quick start guide for Yancha beginners. Besides the signature orchid note, a mixed floral fragrance is attractive and elegant both in the Gaiwan and in the tea soup. This is definitely a relaxing tea, with sweetness in the rich and tasty tea soup, resistant to brewing and easy to understand.
