Qing Xiang Tie Guan Yin is one of the main aroma variants of TGY, processed using reformed modern techniques. Depending on the timing of the Shaqing process, Qing Xiang TGY includes three types of products: Zheng Wei (orthodox flavor), Xiao Qing (greenness eliminated), and Tuo Suan (acidity enhanced by delayed Shaqing). Among these, Zheng Wei TGY is processed using a method most similar to the traditional way and offers a flavor profile closest to that of classic TGY. Our Qing Xiang Tie Guan Yin is crafted in the Zheng Wei style.

Qing Xiang means “fresh fragrance.” Compared to Nong Xiang Tie Guan Yin, Qing Xiang TGY undergoes lighter oxidation during the Yao Qing process (shaking the fresh leaves), and subsequently a roasting process at lower temperatures. This results in a much fresher taste, with high-profile floral notes and slight vegetal hints, perfect for drinkers with a lighter palate.
