Some of you may not be familiar with Ban Nuo Dong, but from the moment we tell you that it is located on Bulang Shan, you can already imagine what the style of this tea is like. It’s a tiny village with only 29 families, at an altitude of 1122m on the mountain top of Bulang Shan (at 1220m on the peak), without industry, the 136 people who live there all work on the land. It is these amazing farmers who we have to thank for bringing this tea to our Gaiwan.
 
Our 2018 Bang Nuo Dong Gushu Raw/Sheng Puerh has all the typical features of Bulang Shan Puerh. After 3 years of dry storage in Kunming, it has gotten rid of the crudeness, but still has hints of lovely freshness. It has rich and distinguishable flavors, very clear floral and nutty fragrances, apparent and long-lasting sweetness mixed with a slight but detectable astringency, making you feel as though you were chewing on a fresh juicy walnut just picked from the tree. It's pretty resistant to brewing, 7g in a Gaiwan gives you an indulgent afternoon, why not?
