Ya’an is famous as the home of Tibetan dark tea, but it is less well known for its long tradition of producing elegant yellow and green teas, particularly in the misty high mountains of Meng Ding, prized for their freshness, sweetness, and refined aroma. In fact, Meng Shan (or Meng Ding Shan) is one of China’s most celebrated tea mountains, with a tea-growing history spanning over two thousand years.
This year, we are offering a collection of carefully selected yellow and green teas, available in a flash sale.

Meng Ding Huang Ya: Yellow Buds (Xin An Selection)
A rare yellow tea handcrafted from a harvest of single buds and subjected to a gentle “Men Huang” (sealed yellowing) process. The superior tender raw material grants it a much more elegant flavor profile and a finer texture compared to Huang Xiao Cha. Our 2026 Meng Ding Huang Ya is among the finest Huang Ya available. offering a smooth, rounded liquor with a soft sweetness and no hint of grassy bitterness.
Meng Shan Huang Xiao Cha: Small Yellow Tea
A fine yellow tea likewise processed through the “Men Huang” technique, often made from a harvest of one bud and the first leaf (up to the second for lower grades). Huang Xiao Cha offers a richer body than Huang Ya, with notes of toasted grains, gentle sweetness, and a warm, comforting finish. Named "Small Yellow Tea" to differentiate it from "Large Yellow Tea (Huang Da Cha)", as the latter is made from much lower-grade harvest standard and has an unrefined appearance.
Meng Ding Shi Hua: Stone Flower (Xin An Selection)
The top green tea of Meng Ding Shan crafted exclusively from tender buds. Exceptionally delicate, it offers a bright, silky liquor with elegant floral notes, gentle chestnut nuances, and a lingering sweet finish.
* This tea will be available in 2027 only if the Meng Ding Collection receives enough support this year.
Meng Ding Gan Lu: Sweet Dew
One of the finest classic green teas from Meng Ding Shan, traditionally regarded as second only to Meng Ding Shi Hua in quality. It offers an elegant flavor profile with a delicate beany aroma, fresh vegetal notes, and a mellow, lingering sweetness.
Meng Shan Mao Feng: Downy Peak
A fine green tea made from tiny buds and newly opened tender leaves. Our 2026 Mao Feng is a Mingqian tea, harvested before the Qingming Festival, very delicate and refreshing, with lingering sweetness in the aftertaste.
