Please note that this Huang Sha He Gushu, the only fresh Puerh of 2026 harvest that we offer, has not been aged in our private storage. It is listed under the Private Reserve series because we hope you will age the cake yourself and build your own private reserve from the very beginning.

Chafang tea mountain, known in ancient times as Mengma (勐麻), lies at an altitude of 2,000–2,800 meters in Chafang Township, right next to Dazhai Township. It is relatively little known among Lincang’s several tea mountains. Huang Sha He (黄沙河), where this tea comes from, is a small village on Chafang tea mountain. The terroir of Chafang tea mountain gives the tea its great quality, and precisely because the area is still little known, our 2026 Huang Sha He Gushu Raw/Sheng Puerh offers exceptional value for money.

The tea itself is well balanced, with pronounced fruitiness and, despite its extreme freshness, very little astringency. Instead, it boasts a juicy bitterness, round Huigan and lasting complexity, suggesting great potential for long-term aging.
